Lisa Busby, music lecturer at Goldsmiths College and all round cool person, is looking for contributions for her ‘Editions of You’ music project. Check it.

Editions of You

Do you release independent music, with an emphasis on unusual or ‘obsolete’ formats, handmade sleeves or packaging, bespoke design, or similar? Are you a small label with an emphasis on limited edition physical musical releases? When you publish and release are you concerned as much with the visual and tactile as well as the audible, and their connections and overlaps? Are you a maker of music related zines?

Well if any of this applies to you - would you like your work to be part of the Editions of You collection?

We are always looking to grow our archive so it reflects the diversity of this activity in the UK and beyond. We always need the help of artists, labels and makers to keep it up to date. We hope this collection will become an official and active research resource in the future, but in the meantime we exhibit it as often as we can and give accompanying talks/run accompanying events. Drop me a mail with links to your work to find out more.
