PROCESS! is a new two-day festival celebrating and interrogating the making of independent media. In the context of high speed media and access to infinite information, how do we create time, space and approaches that can enable us to process the social and political climate and create new media and outputs? Part of Somerset House’s exhibition Print! Tearing It Up, PROCESS! will bring together self-publishers from around the world to showcase the collaborative process of independent publishing. A programme of zine stalls, hands-on workshops and talks will each highlight a different process behind organising, designing and publishing in the context of high speed media.

Applications are currently being accepted from collective and individual self-publishers and zine-makers to take part in the festival. There are many ways to get involved in the festival, from having a zine stall to submitting existing GIFs and films, to being commissioned to produce original live activity and events.
