I remember in 2008, I moved away from home for the first time. I was in search of Allah’s guidance. I was twenty-one and had just finished university, so I was feeling pretty much like a boss. The world was my oyster and I really wanted to travel. Most of all, I really wanted the opportunity to understand and study my faith.
